I was contacted by the studio Pretty Damn Sweet to help art direct and design the show opener for the Adobe Max event in LA. This is a massive event, over 15,000 are in attendance! Albeit my third show for Adobe, it never fails to challenge and reward you.
My role was to create a series of designs and visual ideas to help develop some of the concepts of the show. The visuals below were created often on a daily & weekly basis, entirely in C4D with only minor composites. I functioned as the Art Director roughly a month before production began, and then as a 3d artist developing specifics shots in the show.
These development images here highlight visual concepts and ideas we used to structure the show, ideas like "inside of a machine", or "the genesis of an idea" - were particularly helpful. Many of these explorations reference the brand form initially created internally at Adobe.
Some of these images were then produced at higher resolutions for scenic designs and as backdrops for presenters.
